My name is Francesco Sarracino. I live in Luxembourg and use photographs to share my explorations. There is no single photographic genre that defines my work; I focus on capturing the world around me, and to seek out its uniqueness.
I believe that there should be no restrictions when it comes to style, topic or technique, and that conveying feelings and experiences through images is the ultimate goal of photography.
To me photography is about having fun, enjoying the creative process, and being in the moment. It is a way to connect with the world, to capture moments that might otherwise go unnoticed, and to create something beautiful in the process. I draw inspiration from photographers such as Dorothea Lange, Saul Leiter, Martin Parr, Luis Stettner, Sebastiao Salgado, Chris Niedenthal and Steve McCurry. These photographers have all had a profound impact on the way I approach my own work, my compositions, the choice of subjects, and the use of color and black and white.
This website is a platform to showcase my work and share it with others.
